About Mission Rally Point
Honoring the legacy. Building the future. Serving those who served.
Why We Exist
Mission Rally Point was founded on a simple observation: the veteran support landscape is fragmented, outdated, and failing to meet the needs of a new generation. With over 40,000 veteran-serving organizations operating independently, veterans are left navigating a maze of disconnected resources.
We're building the bridge between legacy veteran service organizations and the modern tools today's veterans expect. One platform. One membership. One Rally Point where every veteran can find connection, stability, health, and opportunity.
The End State
We envision a future where no veteran falls through the cracks — where every service member transitioning to civilian life has immediate access to a coordinated network of support, technology, and community.
- Every veteran within reach of a Rally Point — physical or digital
- VSOs collaborating through shared infrastructure instead of competing for members
- Data-driven resource allocation that puts support where it's needed most
- A self-sustaining model that doesn't depend on a single funding source
- Measurable outcomes that prove what works and eliminate what doesn't
The Founder
David A. Magaña
David A. Magaña was born and raised in South Florida, where he currently resides in Fort Lauderdale. He is stationed in Miami with the 841st Engineer Battalion of the United States Army Reserve. With over 20 years of service in the United States Army, David has served primarily as a Combat Engineer, with assignments including Fort Lewis, Washington; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri — where he served as a Drill Sergeant — and New York's Hudson Valley with the 411th Engineer Brigade. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles focused on training, operational planning, and soldier development.
David deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving as a Combat Engineer conducting route clearance operations — missions requiring precision, trust, and teamwork in high-risk environments. He has been involved with Irreverent Warriors for several years and currently serves in a leadership capacity supporting veteran outreach, mental health awareness, and large-scale community events.

Non-Negotiable Principles
Veterans First
Every decision, every feature, every dollar — measured against one question: does this serve veterans?
Collaborate, Don't Compete
We multiply impact by working together. No turf wars. No egos. One mission.
Measure Everything
If we can't measure it, we can't improve it. Data drives every program decision we make.
Self-Sufficiency
We build systems that sustain themselves. No single point of failure. No dependency on one funding source.
